After replacing the injectors and tubes as a set , my truck was not blowing black smoke as much as it was before changing injectors, but it still smoked a little as the instructions indicated, the started alot easier and run really smooth. I was impressed, it was a fairly easy but lengthy install due to this being my first diesel and I was following all the factory torque specs., as a gas mechanic for many years I had all the basic tools however I did spend about $240 on the specialty cummins injector tools ( WELL WORTH IT ) after about 100 miles my bone stock truck quit blowing black smoke and my mileage went up 4.2 miles per gallon . Glow plugs seem to be high quality and were cheaper than I could get them from the local parts store. Fixed the cold start problem on the ole 7.3!
